LCHI is providing technical deliverables to the Office of Technology Services and the Louisiana Department of Health for the purpose of establishing efficient, innovative, and consolidated IT (Information Technology) operations.

The mission of the Louisiana Department of Health is to protect and promote health and to ensure access to medical, preventive and rehabilitative services for all citizens of the State of Louisiana. LCHI provides information technology support to the LDH Office of the Secretary, the Medicaid Office, Offices of Behavioral Health, Citizens with Developmental Disabilities, Aging and Adult Services, Public Health, and Management and Finance.

The Center designs, develops, and maintains data systems across multiple stakeholders that support collection, maintenance and analysis of health care data for the assessment and evaluation of policy implementation, performance and quality outcomes, while ensuring privacy and security of data. LCHI provides continuous development of software applications, data architecture and system configurations.
