PolicyMap is a powerful tool that provides access to thousands of datasets covering demographics, health outcomes, economic indicators, housing, and more. This resource will empower faculty, students, and researchers across disciplines to visualize and analyze complex data, supporting evidence-based decision-making and impactful initiatives.
Key Benefits of PolicyMap:
- For Research: Enables data-driven exploration of critical issues such as health equity, economic development, and public health.
- For Education: Provides students with hands-on experience in using data visualization and mapping tools.
- For Community Engagement: Offers actionable insights for addressing challenges in Louisiana and beyond.
A Collaborative Acquisition
This university-wide license was made possible through the joint efforts of the Louisiana Center for Health Innovation, the College of Nursing and Health Sciences, and the University Libraries. Together, these units are committed to equipping the university community with the tools needed to advance learning and discovery.
PolicyMap is now integrated into key resources across the university. Visit the PolicyMap website to explore how this tool can support your research, teaching, and service projects. Access to PolicyMap is available through the library’s Find Articles and Databases page or through this direct link.
