TExBioMed

The Training and Experiential Learning in Biomedical Informatics (TExBioMed) Summer Institute is a unique program that initially started at the University of Texas at Arlington and is now being continued at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Led by Principal Investigator and Program Director Dr. Gabriela Wilson, a distinguished leader in the field of health informatics, this 12-week summer research training program is strategically designed to meet the future needs of the informatics workforce and ultimately expand the talent pool. By participating in this program, you will be connected to this prestigious network, opening doors to a wealth of opportunities.

Students will receive a summer stipend of $7,200 each.

Applications for TExBioMed opened November 15, 2024, and will close on February 22, 2025.

Program dates for 2025 are May 12 through August 1, 2025.
