Two LCHI staff members set to attend international conferences

Two LCHI team members are set to attend international conferences next week.
Our health innovation officer, Dr. Angie V. Sanchez, will be at the World Health Summit 2024 in Berlin, Germany, from Oct. 13 to Oct. 15, 2024.
Our health innovation research scientist, Sadie Smith, MPH, will be at Fast-Track Cities 2024 in Paris, France, from Oct. 13 to Oct. 15, 2024.
The World Health Summit (WHS) is a unique international strategic platform for global health. The summit brings together stakeholders from politics, science, the private sector, and civil society worldwide to discuss innovative solutions to health challenges; fosters global health as a key political issue; and promotes the global health debate in the spirit of the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals.
The Fast-Track Cities Conference will convene the network of more than 550 Fast-Track Cities while underscoring the catalytic impact achieved across the network over the past decade in accelerating urban HIV, tuberculous (TB), and viral hepatitis responses. Sadie will form relationships and receive information on updated, proven initiatives aimed at improving health outcomes of communities disproportionately impacted by infectious diseases to implement within LCHI.
We are committed to staying current on the latest research on health innovation, including health equity, and developing new partnerships for the Center.
