Aseel Ghani

Aseel Ghani is a Health Information Management major with a minor in Health Informatics. Through her work with the LCHI, she has contributed to research on HPV gene variations for vaccine development, as well as analyzing safety net access to improve healthcare availability for underserved populations. These experiences have strengthened her interest in how data and research can drive public health improvement and promote equitable care.

After graduation, Aseel plans to pursue a career in medical coding or cancer registry, where she can apply her informatics and data management skills to support healthcare quality and research. Her dedication and contributions were recognized when she earned third place for her presentation at the TExBioMed Final Presentation.
